It was a statesmanlike appearance that Prime Minister Markus Söder made at a crisis summit on the Munich S-Bahn in the summer. One must now act seriously, sustainably and prudently in order to advance the second trunk route as the “main artery of local public transport” in Bavaria. Mutual blame is not a solution, the head of government warned in view of the imminent delay of the project by many years and foreseeable cost increases in the billions.
