Hardly a year goes by without new eyebrow hype. While the fine hairs were shaved off and thinly traced back in the 1930s, thick and bushy brows are in vogue today. In 2020 it was so-called soap brows that set a trend. But what is it actually?

Translated, the name Soap Brows simply means “soap brew” – and is actually self-explanatory. To get the eyebrows into shape, they are fixed with an ordinary eyebrow brush and a little soap. In contrast to other styling products, this technique is said to have several advantages: Ease of use and improved hold. In addition, your eyebrows appear thicker and more natural. Which soap is recommended for soap brows?

Soap Brows: How to Use Soap Correctly

It is easy to use, but has some pitfalls. To turn your eyebrows into real soap brows, all you have to do is follow these three steps:

  1. Moisten the Eyebrow brush with a little water.
  2. Move the brush back and forth over the soap without it starting to foam.
  3. Use the brush to give your eyebrows the shape you want.

And one more important tip at the end: Always make sure that the accessories are clean. Wash the eyebrow brush thoroughly after each use so that no soap residue sticks to it. Then let the brush dry horizontally.
