“Wonder Woman” Gal Gadot is supposed to play the evil stepmother in the new Disney adaptation of “Snow White”.
“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful in the whole country?” The baddest, at least for Disney, will probably be Gal Gadot (36).
How “Variety” wants to know, the actress is in the final stages of negotiations for the role of Evil Queen in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of “Snow White”. For Gadot, after her lead role as “Wonder Woman”, this will be an opportunity to show herself from another – more vicious – side.
Rachel Zegler plays Snow White
Your opponent has been known since June: Rachel Zegler, known from the new “West Side Story”, will play Snow White. The as yet untitled adaptation “(500) Days of Summer” is directed by Marc Webb (47). Filming is scheduled to begin in 2022.
The project is likely to have a special status for Disney: The fairy tale about the evil queen who wants to poison Snow White out of jealousy was the company’s first animated film in 1937.
