“Slow TV”: RTL+ brings a two-week moose hike as a live stream

It is part of the “Slow TV” trend and has many fans in Sweden: The traditional moose hike can also be seen live via video broadcast in Germany this year. “From April 22nd, Earth Day, RTL+ will show in a free 24-hour live stream for two weeks how Sweden’s moose move back inland to their pastures after the barren winter months on the coast,” said the broadcaster.

In the program “The Great Moose Migration – The Live Event from RTL+ and GEO”, viewers can observe “whether the majestic animals are leisurely crossing the river Ångermanälven, chewing on their food in peace and quiet, or simply enjoying untouched nature and breathtaking landscapes can be seen,” said RTL.

On “Slow TV” an event is shown in its usual length. If you can’t relax, you might want to watch TV to help you fall asleep. Long train journeys, tranquil aquariums or crackling fireplaces are also classic “Slow TV” formats.
