In addition to his Hotel Seehof in Pongau and a restaurant in Salzburg, Sepp Schellhorn also runs two ski huts in the Gastein Valley with a total of 2,000 seats. The trained and practicing chef sat for the liberal Neos in the Austrian Parliament and over many years has earned a reputation for speaking plainly: especially about economic policy, but also about skewed culture and society.
