Six years in prison for former OM striker Koke, who admitted to being at the head of drug trafficking

Koke, the former OM striker (2004-2006), was sentenced to six years in prison on Tuesday. Sergio Contreras, by his full name, admitted during the trial held in Malaga to being at the head of a drug trafficking network, responsible for buying large quantities of cannabis and then transporting them in trucks to European countries. As related RMC, he accepted a six-year prison sentence, alongside the 17 other people charged in the case.

Already almost two years behind bars

The 40-year-old former OM player acknowledged with his brother and all the other defendants their involvement in this drug trafficking during the trial which started on March 27. The sentences that will be issued in the coming days will be final and without appeal after the facts have been recognized.
