20 people were injured in an accident on Autobahn 3 in the direction of Nuremberg. Shortly before the Sinzing junction (Regensburg district) there was a collision between three cars on Monday morning, the police said.
There were two further accidents with eleven vehicles involved in the traffic jam on the “mirror-smooth” road. According to police reports, 19 people are slightly injured and one person is moderately injured.
There were traffic disruptions around Regensburg on Monday morning. The A3 was completely closed in the direction of Nuremberg between the Regensburg motorway junction and the Sinzig junction.
Traffic was diverted onto the A93 in the direction of Pfaffenstein and on to the B8 in the direction of Nittendorf. It was initially unclear how long the full closure would last.
