Silk Road co-founder Ross Ulbricht launches his own NFT collection.

Ross Ulbricht, the founder of Silk Road, a famous black market that has since shut down.recently announcedthat he is opening an auction for his own NFT collection.

His Ethereum digital collection, called the Ross Ulbricht Genesis Collection, details Ulbricht’s life from childhood to nine years in prison.

The NFT will be a unique collection of handcrafted writings and artworks. Includes comic books, artwork depicting courtroom scenes, original animation created by digital artist Levitate, with voiceovers by Ulbricht himself, which his supporters have adapted into NFT.

The auction is scheduled to end on December 8 and the proceeds will be used to support prisoners and their families through charity fund Art4Giving

The proceeds will also go to a fund dedicated to efforts to save Ross Ulbricht from prison life.

Ulbricht added: “My future may seem murky. But I can still do a little to heal the damage around me. Prisons put families at risk. it destroys the community And children are the ones who suffer…

The announcement of Ulbricht’s NFT collection received mixed reactions in the Crypto community on Twitter, although his supporters wholeheartedly accepted it.Other industry participants do not accept it.

Ulbricht launched Silk Road in 2011, a black market used to trade all types of illicit goods, including drugs, weapons and more, using bitcoin and other digital assets.
