Two women had accused actor Chris Noth, who is known for his role as Mr. Big in “Sex and the City”, of sexual assault last week. Now another woman speaks up.

Another woman has accused the US actor Chris Noth (67) of abuse. She was sexually abused by the “Sex and the City” star in New York in 2002, the woman said in the presence of her lawyer Gloria Allred.

She defended herself against the actor’s attacks. Noth warned her not to tell anyone about the incident. She was silent for a long time out of fear, said the woman.

According to Allred, the alleged assault is statute barred under New York State law. However, her client wanted to break the silence to help other victims of sexual violence.

Noth rejects allegations

Last week two women accused Noth of sexual assault in Hollywood Reporter magazine. In the course of the new edition of the HBO cult series “Sex and the City”, the new reporting had awakened the “painful memories” of the incidents in 2004 in Los Angeles and 2015 in New York. Noth rejected these allegations as “categorically wrong”. The encounters were amicable, Noth told the trade journal.

Noth played Mr. Big, the husband of main character Carrie, on the HBO series. In the new edition “And Just Like That …” Noth is also there. The female stars of the series “Sex and the City” spoke up on Monday. “We are deeply shocked by the allegations against Chris Noth,” said a message on the social media channels of Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. You would support the women who came forward and shared their painful experiences.

Star attorney Allred called on the actresses to stand up for an upcoming bill in New York that would create exemptions from the statute of limitations for adult victims of sexual assault. In this way, perpetrators could be held accountable.
