“They will at least all be grazed and some could fall”, confirms to 20 minutes Florian Knoll. The volunteer forecaster at Météo Suivi Alsace has identified at least seven threatened. Two dating from May 29, 2017: 34.1°C at Sélestat and 33.8° at the Strasbourg-Entzheim station. The other five date back to 25 May 2009: 32.8°C at Basel-Mulhouse airport, 33.3°C at Mulhouse, 34.7°C at Colmar-Meyenheim, 30.5°C at Geishouse and finally 25.4°C at the Markstein station.
“Everything will depend on the cloudiness, the thickness of the cloudy veil”, warns the specialist again.
