Seven prizes for “Illusions Perdues” including best film… Discover the complete list of César 2022 awards

Big favorite of the evening, Illusions Perdues left with seven prizes in total, including best film. The ceremony was also marked by Xavier Dolan’s moving tribute to Gaspard Ulliel.

Full box for “Lost Illusions”. Big favorite of the evening, Xavier Giannoli’s film received seven awards at the 47th Cesar ceremony, including best film, best supporting role for Vincent Lacoste and even best male hopeful with Benjamin Voisin.

After two tarnished editions – one by the coronation of Roman Polanski, accused of rape, as best director and the other by the health crisis – this year’s ceremony was intended to be classic with Antoine de Caunes in the animation.

Xavier Dolan moved

Only significant event: the entry on stage of the YouTuber “Marie s’infiltrates” after the coronation of the best male hope. Specializing in hidden cameras, she went on stage after showing her buttocks to the audience and speaking for a few minutes.

On the price side, the other big winner of the evening is Annette who received five statuettes including that of the best realization for Leos Carax but also the best sound and the best original music. Big disappointment, however, for Aline who only leaves with a statuette (best actress for Valérie Lemercier) despite her ten nominations.

The two other highlights of the evening are the tears of Xavier Dolan during his tribute to Gaspard Ulliel, who died on January 19, but also those of Cate Blanchett when he received his honorary Cesar.
