Rome coach Jose Mourinho intervened in a racism attack against Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
When his Roma lost 3-1 to AC Milan, coach Jose Mourinho protected Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic from racist hostility from some Roma supporters.
According to information from GOAL and SPOX some fans of the capital city made racially motivated calls in the direction of the Swedes in the second half. Mourinho then intervened and urged the fans to stop the vicious chants.
The incident occurred immediately after the third hit by the Rossoneri by Rafael Leao in the 81st minute.
Ibrahimovic and “The Special One” have enjoyed a close friendship for many years. They also spent the 2008/09 season at Inter Milan before Ibrahimovic joined FC Barcelona. From July 2016 to March 2018, the two met again at Manchester United.
