Senior murders in Schwäbisch Hall: “They said it was a natural death.”

A 33-year-old father from Serbia is said to have brutally killed and robbed two senior women. On the fourth day of the trial in Heilbronn, the survivors have their say – and talk about an act that almost went undiscovered.

On December 21, 2022, Heidemarie K. wanted to make coffee in her apartment in Schwäbisch Hall, eat a piece of cake and read the latest issue of the “Bild-Zeitung”. When her daughter Ingrid P. entered the 77-year-old’s apartment two days later, the cake was still wrapped and lying on the kitchen table, the newspaper was unread next to it, and the tab in the coffee machine was unused.

Heidemarie K. was lying on the floor in the hallway directly behind her apartment door. Lying on your stomach on a blue blanket. Face down, one arm over his head, the other twisted backwards, hands swollen and cold. A laceration above the right temple. Much blood. The daughter called the emergency doctor.
