Schools in Bavaria: Apparently more and more illegal “learning groups” – Bavaria

After an “alternative school” was closed in the Rosenheim district, new cases became known. There are many indications that those responsible are close to the lateral thinker milieu – and in some cases are networked with one another.

At the end of October in a wooded area in the Freising district, it’s actually school time. Hidden in a small valley behind tall fir trees are some fenced-in pastures. In the middle an ensemble of small wooden buildings, in front of it a paved area with a long table. A few children and young people are sitting at it, a few are walking around, their voices are mixed up, two adults are loading stones. For a few weeks now, the small riding stable has been more than just a meeting place for leisure. Apparently a “learning group” meets here. The concept: Instead of sending the children and young people to school, they are looked after together by voluntary “learning guides”.
