Schools in 74 municipalities in Pas-de-Calais “particularly impacted by the floods” affecting the department will be closed Thursday and Friday, the department prefecture announced on Wednesday.
Four courses in the department (Liane, Hem, Aa and Canche) are placed on orange flood alert, which will also apply to the entire department on Thursday for risks of rain-flooding. Schools in the Liane and Aa basins had already been closed on Tuesday.
