The Christmas cake. An elementary school’s end-of-year meal turned into food poisoning on Thursday in Paris. Around twenty children from Cherbourg school, in the 15th arrondissement, suffered stomach aches and some vomited after the Christmas meal in the canteen. Four of them were also taken for observation to the Trousseau and Robert-Debré hospitals, reports The Parisian.
The menu was appetizing: venison with forest sauce, chestnut puree, cheese and chocolate cake. But digestion early in the afternoon was difficult. Around twenty firefighters and a doctor intervened with the children. The cause of the poisoning remains to be determined, the food must be analyzed.
