As Commissioner Maris Bächle, Jessica Schwarz is currently luring Germany in front of the TV screen. In her personal life, however, she found happiness miles away from the Black Forest film location.
Louis-Freytag Beckmann is the name of the man who makes Jessica Schwarz’s (46) heart beat faster. The actress has been married to the interior designer, who is 12 years her junior, since July 2021; the couple lives a rather unconventional life in Portugal. During a vacation together three years ago, they fell in love with a property in the pretty town of Setúbal near Lisbon. Today you can find your stylish glamping hotel there “Rêves Étoilés“.
But Jessica Schwarz didn’t give up acting for that. Not an easy thing, as she told BUNTE magazine in September 2022: “I was filming continuously for half a year, twice eight weeks in a row away from home and my loved one – acting took me a long time and very far away this year Stayed away from Portugal. That was a big nervous test for me.” Her marriage in particular would have suffered: “We’ve been out of sync as a couple over the last six months. Precisely because we were separated for so long because of my filming. We’re a very good team, a dream team, but after my return “I just stood there for what felt like a week and didn’t know exactly where to start with myself or with him or at all.” She honestly admitted: “Of course it does something, it doesn’t leave you unscathed, but that doesn’t change love.”

There was a lot of love in the air in the German celebrity world in 2023. Especially with Elena Uhlig (48) and Fritz Karl (65). The actor couple caused the surprise of the year with their wedding! After 17 years of relationship and four children together, they said yes on a ship in November.
