Schleswig-Holstein – Günther continues for Jamaica – policy

Schleswig-Holstein’s Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) has invited the Greens and FDP to a joint exploratory talk about forming a government. “We have a good basis,” he said on Wednesday evening in Kiel. The state chairman had previously received the green light for such an invitation from the executive state board. Günther described the meeting planned for Thursday as a “coalition preparatory talk”. Negotiations could start next week. Günther was convinced that the parties could succeed in forming a government. “There are no cliffs,” he said. It is clear that the CDU handwriting must be reflected in the coalition agreement given the 43.4 percent. He is aiming for a new edition of the Jamaica coalition, although his party would only have a majority with the Greens or the FDP.
