After the serious bus accident with a Bavarian tour group in Austria, the seriously injured driver of the vehicle died. The 51-year-old died in the hospital in Schwarzach on Tuesday morning. After the accident late on Saturday evening, he was put into an artificial deep sleep in critical condition. The coach, which was occupied by 32 men from Lower Bavaria, fell in a hairpin bend while driving down a slope and landed on a building complex. According to the Red Cross, four other occupants were seriously injured and 26 were slightly injured in addition to the driver. Almost a dozen of the passengers belonged to the group around the groom from Triftern in the Rottal-Inn district, who had gone on a toboggan trip in Austria. The cause of the accident was still not clear on Tuesday. The wreckage of the bus has yet to be examined, police said.
