The Minister Delegate for Citizenship Marlène Schiappa intends to file a complaint after the disappearance at the Ministry of the Interior of a hard drive containing however “no important data”, said his entourage on Wednesday. According to him, the complaint must be filed in the morning. It will be filed “against X”, to “determine what happened”, added the entourage.

The internal hard drive having disappeared is that “of one of the professional computers of the ministry, it was in an office”, still said the entourage. BFMTV announced Tuesday that the Minister Delegate had “stolen” a hard drive from the Interior Ministry. “We cannot know to date whether there has been theft or not,” said this Wednesday to the entourage of Marlène Schiappa.

In a tweet, Marlène Schiappa clarified that it contained “absolutely no important data”. “I do not use any external hard drive,” added the Minister Delegate, head of the LREM list in Paris for the regional elections. “No sensitive data has disappeared,” she insisted. “I deplore the intimidation attempts that we now seem to have to know in every election,” she added.
