Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair celebrate 24 years of friendship with director Roger Kumble with an Instagram post.
Sarah Michelle Gellar (44) and Selma Blair (49) met 24 years ago while filming the film “Ice Cold Angels” – since then the two have been inseparable. Now the friends have celebrated a reunion with the film’s director, Roger Kumble (55), and Photos of the meeting shared on Instagram. One photo shows Gellar and Blair together, another also has Kumble sticking his head in the frame.
“Everybody does it… it’s just nobody talks about it”
“24th annual secret society meeting… everyone’s doing it… just nobody’s talking about it… except @rogerkumble,” Sarah Michelle Gellar joked under the post. Kumble himself had the photo of the three a few hours earlier on his Instagram account posted with an almost identical caption.
With the caption, the two quote a conversation between Gellar’s character Kathryn and Blair’s character Cecile from Cruel Intentions: “Cecile, everyone does it… it just doesn’t talk about it,” says Kathryn in the scene. “So it’s like a secret society?” Cecile asks.
The three had already celebrated a reunion in February 2020 with such a “secret society meeting”. Selma Blair shared a photo on her Instagram account at the time and wrote, “Who would have thought the ‘Crucial Angels’ trio would last forever?”
