Sandrine Josso now wants to “lift the veil” on chemical submission

She wishes to “lift the veil on this public health drama”. A month after accusing Senator Joël Guerriau of having drugged her without her knowledge, Modem MP for Loire-Atlantique Sandrine Josso announces her commitment against chemical submission. “To alert the general public and raise awareness about prevention, Sandrine Josso becomes spokesperson and official sponsor of the association Don’t fall asleep: stop the chemical submission founded by Caroline Darian,” says a press release.

According to this association, chemical submission in the private sphere, of which nine out of ten victims are women, is a little-known “national social fact”. “The several hundred suspicious reports recorded each year are only the visible part of the iceberg, which does not take into account people in therapeutic wandering and whose symptoms of chemical submission have not been detected,” warns Sandrine Josso .

The association launched an awareness campaign in the spring, to alert people to the phenomenon which would go well beyond injections or GHB in nightclubs.

Sandrine Josso, who according to West France returned to the Assembly only this week due to post-traumatic stress, today hopes that it “stops being the blind spot of violence against women”. “I thought I was going to die of a heart attack,” she said of her own experience. I thought I was going to die because I thought he was going to abuse me. »
