Samy Deluxe shares chat with his mom: “Wu-Tang Clan called”

Many hip-hop fans would probably like to have a message like this on their cell phone: Samy Deluxe received a callback request on Sunday from none other than a member of the Wu-Tang Clan. But he probably contacted Samy’s mother first.
Many children of the 80s and 90s must have dreamed of this news: “Hello, my big boy, yesterday someone from Called Wu-Tang Clan here because he couldn’t reach you on the (old) cell phone number. He asks for a call back.”
However, none other than Samy Deluxe received this message. His mother calmly gave him the good news via text message on Sunday morning. The hip-hop artist responded enthusiastically with a “Best Message Mom” and later shared the conversation on Instagram.
With their grim and dark sound, the Wu-Tang Clan collective from New York shaped hip hop in the 90s. Founding members RZA, GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, U-God and Masta Killa were all successful both solo and collectively.
