Samuel Finzi reads from his autobiographical novel in Munich. – Munich

Actor Samuel Finzi has been celebrated for his work on stage, screen and screen for years. The wearer of the Gertrud Eysoldt Ring has been just as enthusiastic in comedies as “Kokowääh” as in Stefan Zweig’s reckoning with the NS regime “Schachnovelle” or his performance in Samuel Beckett’s drama “Waiting for Godot” at the Deutsches Theater Berlin.

Now he has presented his autobiographical novel “Samuel’s Book” and he is coming to Munich, to the beautiful Burda Hall of the Jewish Community Center, to present the work, which is so rich in wit and anecdotes. He begins his youth in Bulgaria in the 1970s as the son of an actor and a pianist. The past, as you can guess, wasn’t always funny.
