Sample: Subtle notes instead of loud fanfares – Munich

Continuity and timelessness are expected from a company that has the addition “Since 1700” in its coat of arms. So it was quite a surprise when Dallmayr had to announce in the summer of 2023 that the head chef of its gourmet restaurant Alois would be leaving the house again shortly. After less than a year in Munich, the Austrian Max Natmessnig moved to New York as co-chef of a three-star restaurant where he had already worked and where he had also met his wife. Great for him, but a shame for the Munich audience. Because what he had shown here during his guest appearance had been great theater.
