“Full Frontal” with Samantha Bee is history. US broadcaster TBS has canceled the popular late-night show after seven seasons.

One of the few late-night shows in the United States that is presented by a woman has to be canceled: The Emmy-nominated show “Full Frontal” with Samantha Bee (52) was canceled by TBS after seven seasons. The sad news for all fans of the snappy comedian has now also been published confirmed via the show’s official Twitter account.

“We are so grateful for the loyal audience, for our great team and for being able to annoy the right people every week.” Former President Donald Trump (76) and large parts of his family and the Republican Party should feel primarily addressed here.

Does it continue elsewhere?

Perhaps a glimmer of hope: the post mentions that “Full Frontal” won’t be returning to TBS in the fall. In the US, it’s not uncommon for late-night hosts to change channels. Last year, Conan O’Brien (59) also moved from TBS and after eleven years to HBO Max. So maybe Bee and her team will find a new home elsewhere.
