More than 100 years after it was founded and in the final year of Bettina Hering as drama director, inclusive theater is taking place for the first time at the Salzburg Festival – and not as an excuse, but meant very first: Helgard Haug, together with the Theater Hora troupe, is staging the ” Caucasian Chalk Circle” by Bertolt Brecht. Or rather after Bertolt Brecht. Because when the Hora people get involved in the theater, conventional circumstances don’t count as much anymore. In return you get something different, new, beautiful.
