Safari Tour: Close Encounter with Cheetah for Tourists in Namibia

See the video: shock moment with cheetah on safari tour – predator tries to get into the car.

This hair-raising moment shows a cheetah coming dangerously close to a group of tourists.

34-year-old Magdalena captures the fascinating moment on her cell phone.

She is on safari with other tourists near the city of Windhoek in Namibia.

There, the group witnesses how cheetahs are fed – as can be seen in these recordings.

The cheetah slowly creeps up to the vehicle and suddenly jumps up on a door.

For the tour guides this seems anything but dangerous and so they even open the car door and give the animal a large piece of meat.

So they allow themselves a little fun with the wild animal, which is not tamed.

“If you don’t meow, you won’t get your food.”

The safari takes the group through a park that is home to cheetahs that would have no chance of surviving in the wild.

The animals are fed by the guides every other day and are used to the many tourist groups.
The situation felt very safe for Magdalena.

“There wasn’t a moment when I felt unsafe or anxious. The guides explained what to expect and how the cheetahs behave.” – Magdalena Ryszkowska.

According to the tour guides, such a close encounter is only possible with cheetahs, since the animals are more afraid of us humans and would rather avoid us than attack.

For Magdalena and the other tourists, this safari tour was a special experience that they will probably not soon forget.
