Saarwellingen – In Saarwellingen, a man ran over his wife and then fled! The police arrested the 49-year-old after a brief search.
Horrible: According to the neighbors, the Saarwellinger is said to have raced towards the woman on purpose – and then rolled over her a second time!
The drama happened around 6 p.m. on Lebacher Strasse: the engine of the silver Skoda Octavia howled, shortly afterwards the driver ran over his wife (47) in front of a residential building.
The woman was left bleeding on the ground when, according to local residents, the driver turned around again and ran over the helpless victim again.
The police cordoned off the area extensively
Then the man raced away, the victim came to a clinic with serious injuries – the woman is in acute danger of death!
The police immediately launched a search for the man. The car was finally sighted in Bahnhofstrasse and the man arrested. It is not known whether he has already commented on the allegations against him.
A towing company removed the car
The car was secured and taken by a towing company to the state police headquarters in Saarbrücken.
Crimes Against Life officers have taken over the case and are now investigating an attempted homicide.
