A recent situation once again confirmed Tobias Probst that he has the right job. He describes it like this: The S-Bahn stops. A woman sticks her head out of the door and shouts loudly across the platform: “Yes, where is the front of your house?” A man rushes towards her from the end of the train – and the two start hugging and kissing in the doorway. Probst wants to close the doors and speaks into the microphone: “People, I have to drive on.” And then asks: “Can I get a kiss too?” An elderly lady watching the scene from the platform then offers the train driver: “You’d get a kiss from me. But they never taste that good.” “He laughed about it from Erdweg to Arnbach,” says Probst. “You’re right there with life in my job.”
