With a squad of several patrols and a helicopter, the police picked up a confused, 61-year-old man near Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn on Wednesday evening. The obviously helpless man was, as the police announced on Thursday, in the area of the S-Bahn tracks between Hohenbrunn and Wächterhof. A helicopter from the federal police squadron in Oberschleißheim finally discovered the man from the air with the help of a thermal imaging camera near the Wächterhof S-Bahn stop next to the rails. The man from Erding made confused statements to the officials and could not explain how he had come to the Munich district. Since he did not require medical attention and was in good physical condition, the police took him to his home in Erding. For the duration of the operation, the S-Bahn line S 7 between Hohenbrunn and Wächterhof ran on sight. There were minor restrictions.
