It has to come from the sauna area, at least from the corridor that leads to the sauna area in the Hotel Colosseo. In fact, among the assembled fools in the foyer there was almost something like excited expectation, undoubtedly a success of Markus Söder’s long-term project to make a giant thing about his carnival costumes. With a view to the Franken-Fastnacht in Veitshöchheim on Friday, Söder has just presented himself as a frog in an Instagram video as a test. The frog option would actually go much better with this Tuesday evening in Rust, Baden, a carnival away game in which Söder meets his natural green colleague Winfried Kretschmann.
