The governor of the Russian region of Samara, Dmitri Azarov, announced the opening of a telephone line for the relatives of the soldiers killed in Makiïvka, among whom are his constituents.
Some have also accused the Russian authorities of minimizing the death toll. “My God, who is going to believe the number 63? The building was completely destroyed,” wrote a Russian, on the main Russian social network VKontakte.
On this network, the Russians were asked to collect clothes, medicine and equipment for the survivors.
