Runway excursion at Orly: a Fly Amelia plane misses its landing after a flight between Rodez and Paris

This Thursday, October 20, a Fly Amelia plane came off the runway at Orly airport. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

More fear than harm for the 39 passengers and three crew members of the Fly Amelia flight between Rodez and Paris. The plane, which was to land this Thursday, October 20 around 7:30 p.m., left the runway at Orly airport, reveals RTL.

Landing in a storm

The weather conditions were unfavorable at the airport: the landing was indeed carried out in the middle of a storm. “All passengers have been disembarked and attended to by airport staff. Delays may be observed upon arrival/departure from the airport,” the airport’s official Twitter account reads.
