Designer Michael Michalsky and presenter Chantal Janzen strengthen the jury of The Super talent on RTL. The station announced this on Monday evening on Instagram.
The two then sit at the jury desk together with Lukas Podolski. “He is one of the most influential fashion designers in Germany, she is the most popular presenter in the Netherlands,” said RTL. “One thing is already certain: all fans can look forward to concentrated entertainment.” Michalsky was on the jury of from 2016 to 2018 Germany’s Next Topmodel, Janzen has been a juror since 2013 Holland’s Got Talent, the Dutch Super talent-Version.
The new season will start in autumn 2021. Last week it became known that footballer Lukas Podolski was joining the jury for the upcoming season of the RTL show. The 36-year-old has “signed for several years,” said the private broadcaster. “You grew up with it. You watch it with the children,” said Podolski about the show. “You definitely need a bit of start-up time. But then it’s not a problem.”

Podolski is impressed by the steadily new performances of the candidates: “I always ask myself how much talent people can have? But there are always new surprises.” His motto as a juror: “In the end you have to be honest.” One must also be able to criticize, “but in a fair way”.

The former national player found words of praise about his jury predecessor: “Dieter Bohlen comes from a completely different direction than me. You can’t compare them either. And I don’t want to replace him in any way,” said Podolski. Now it’s going in a different direction.
RTL announced in March of this year that it would not just be the casting show Germany seeks the superstar (“DSDS”), but also The Super talent to set up anew. Permanent juror Dieter Bohlen thus flew out of both shows. They want to become more family-friendly, said RTL managing director Henning Tewes about the new strategy and promised “campfire moments for young and old, for old and young”. Another name for the replacement of the Super talent-Jury wants to announce the station next week.
