Rotary Club Ebersberg-Grafing: Donuts for a good cause – Ebersberg

As part of the second donut fundraiser, members of the Rotary Club Ebersberg-Grafing, together with the donors Elli and Thomas Huber, presented 600 donuts to the employees of the Ebersberg district clinic. With the campaign, the clinic thanks its employees for their extremely valuable work during the pandemic. Authorities, companies, shops and generous private individuals in the district and the surrounding area also distribute donut gifts and thus support the Rotary Club project, which is once again missing out on donations for its social commitment due to the repeated cancellation of the Rotary Gala in the Alter Speicher.

The donuts are produced at cost price, the surcharge of one euro per donut this year goes to the organization “Orthopaedics for Developing Countries”, which finances prostheses for accident victims in Sierra Leone in West Africa, one of the poorest countries in the world, with the help of personal contacts from the Rotary Club . The Rotary Club also delivered donuts to the district office this week, there were 500 donuts that were distributed to the employees of the authority on Wednesday. District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß: “We are happy to take part in this friendly carnival campaign again, because it means that people who need our help can be supported directly on site. And we would also like to give the employees a little joy in this carnival, which is once again without an event.”
