The largest festival in Scandinavia has started in Roskilde, Denmark, with a top-class lineup. The camping site opened last Saturday so that the first of the estimated 130,000 guests and volunteers could pitch their tents. “The festival” has begun, the organizers wrote on Instagram. All 80,000 season tickets are sold out. Roskilde is a good 30 kilometers west of Copenhagen.
The event is taking place for the 51st time this year. Various events and activities have been running on the festival grounds since Sunday, and the big music stages have been in focus since yesterday, Wednesday.
