The forest sounds like flutes. Flutes mingling with birdsong. Add some bed-warm guitars, a soft, deep drum. Later then wide choirs, maybe something like wolf howls – a kind of siren call, apparently. In any case, the protagonist in the song “Sound of the Forest” feels called to the sound of the forest: “There’s no time to wait / Let’s run away with wild horses / Following the sound into the woods / into the wild.”
