A TV2 reporter had previously reported on the spot that he heard a bang and then saw a rear car of the 25-metre-high “Cobra” roller coaster break away. The Tivoli Friheden confirmed on Facebook and Instagram in the afternoon that the rearmost car had broken off during the operation of the railway. The amusement park was subsequently closed until further notice. Psychological help was offered to those affected. According to the police, the exact cause of the accident should now be clarified by technical investigations and witness interviews.
