Robert Pattinson tried a few things while filming The Batman. His whispering Batman, however, was not well received.
To distinguish himself from his predecessors, Robert Pattinson (35) dared something new in the first two weeks on the set of “The Batman”. The actor tried a “radically different” voice, like himself on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” told. That’s why he initially only spoke his role in a whisper.
That would have looked “absolutely horrible”. He was then asked to change his initial Batman voice. The actor later opted for a deeper and more traditional voice. “You put the suit on and you have to speak a certain way,” explains Pattinson.
Batman voice is not to be underestimated
He wasn’t the first actor in Batman history to have the idea of disguising his voice. Christian Bale (48) is said to have experimented with his voice. “If you listen to the first teaser of Batman Begins, you can hear the original voiceover,” Pattinson told viewers. He has already received praise from Twitter users for his voice in the film preview of “The Batman”.
