The chapter FC Bayern Munich is finally closed for striker Robert Lewandowski. FC Barcelona have released details about the striker’s transfer.

The move from world footballer Robert Lewandowski from FC Bayern to Spain to FC Barcelona has been finalized. The Pole is moving to the Catalans for a fee of 45 million euros, which can increase to 50 million euros through bonus payments, as the Spaniards announced on Tuesday evening. Lewandowski will sign a four-year deal with a €500m release clause, the statement said.

Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn had already confirmed the agreement with FC Barcelona on Saturday. Lewandowski had traveled to his new team in Miami, USA on Sunday and had already been introduced to social media.

Almost at the same time as the announcement of the formalities, Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann once again commented on the Pole’s farewell. “When someone like Robert plays up front, you play more crosses. The way we play will change,” said Nagelsmann in Washington. “It’s a new Bayern Munich. It will be a challenge and I like challenges. It’s good for everyone, we have to find new ways and be creative. It used to be easier for the opponent to prepare for our game. Now we will be even more unpredictable.”
