RN and LR neck and neck in the event of a duel in the second round according to a survey

A duel that promises to be extremely tight. According to a poll published this Wednesday on the regional elections in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, the candidate RN Thierry Mariani and the outgoing president (LR) Renaud Muselier would be neck and neck with 50% of voting intentions in the event duel in the second round.

If the union list on the left is maintained in the second round, Thierry Mariani would come out ahead with 45% of voting intentions, ahead of the outgoing region president, Renaud Muselier (37%) and the list of the Ecological Rally and social work of Jean-Laurent Félizia (18%), according to this Elabe survey carried out for BFMTV.

The RN in the lead in the first round

In the first round, Marine Le Pen’s party would also finish in the lead (43%), far ahead of Renaud Muselier who notably allied with members of the presidential majority (33%) or Jean-Laurent Félizia (12%).

In 2015, the National Front led by Marion Maréchal-Le Pen had largely won the first round of regional elections in Paca, with 40.6% of the votes cast, against 26.5% for the LR list of Christian Estrosi and 16 , 6% for the left list led by Christophe Castaner, then at the PS. The withdrawal of Christophe Castaner allowed Christian Estrosi to win in the second round, with 54.8% of the vote.
