Ripple co-founder and executive chairman Chris Larsen said why he admired the creation of Cardano, although there was little controversy between Charles Hoskinson and the XRP community shortly after an interview.
Charles Hoskinson was previously asked to comment on the recent actions of the SEC affecting Ripple, some influencers in the area, and the cryptocurrency industry in general.
Some XRP community believe that corruption is taking place within the SEC commission and that is the main reason why it is targeting Ripple. Hoskinson, however, does not believe that to be the case. Rather, it was due to a lack of clear regulatory clarity and a rigorous framework.
Larsen said, “Charles Hoskinson has played an important role in the crypto and climate initiatives. In particular, research and development of code for Proof of Useful Work (How Bitcoin becomes carbon-negative chai). I appreciate your contribution to this important issue!”
However, the Ripple co-founder’s remarks have not calmed XRP supporters, and they continue to assert Hoskinson’s guilt and believe there was a conspiracy in the Ripple case, and the SEC and Cardano could be part of it.
In response to the criticism, Hoskinson described the remarks from XRP followers attacking them as “sad” and “shameful”.
