“This case proceeded well. There are cases where people struggle to find answers. But the judge apparently understood that the case was an important case and was going to set a precedent. And now we are close to filing a final judgment. Everything must be before a judge by the end of November,” he said.

When asked if he believed the case would be over this year, Garlinghouse said: “That’s an optimistic view. But it’s not impossible.”
