Rimsting – son attacks father hard – Bavaria

After an attack on his own father, a man was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Upper Bavaria. The 32-year-old had seriously injured his father in the common apartment in Rimsting (Rosenheim district), the police said on Monday. Neighbors overheard the argument on Saturday evening and notified the police, it said. The alleged perpetrator was then arrested without resistance. The 68-year-old father came to the hospital. According to the police, he is not in mortal danger. The public prosecutor’s office ordered the son to have a psychiatric assessment. He was then taken to the closed department of a specialist clinic. He is being investigated for an attempted homicide.
