The German dressage team won gold at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Dorothee Schneider with Showtime, Isabell Werth with Bella Rose and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl with Dalera won ahead of the USA and Great Britain.
For the German dressage riders it was the 14th gold medal in the team at the Olympics. With only one exception, team gold has always gone to Germany since 1984.
