“Ricky blocked me on all social networks,” reveals Léa

She is the first adventurer from “Koh-Lanta, the immunity hunters” eliminated since reunification. The 22-year-old nurse from Hérault who, during the same episode broadcast Tuesday on TF1, won the obstacle course on the women’s side, was a formidable opponent in the eyes of many of her acolytes. The former yellows voted together against her, the ex-red, while she was ready to form an alliance with them, as she tells 20 minutes.

Were you worried before the council?

In “Koh-Lanta”, zero risk does not exist. Even more in an edition called “the immunity hunters”. But it was still the advice that I approached most calmly since the beginning of the adventure. It was the first after reunification, I have a certain merit and I thought that the ex-yellows voted on merit. I told myself that even in the event of a turnaround, if an immunity necklace was played, it wouldn’t fall on me.

No less than three collars were played, including one in favor of Océane which immunized her while a majority of ballots were against her. And it fell on you…

When we [les ex-rouges] realized she was immune, we all looked at each other like “Okay, now who did they vote against?” » At that moment, I told myself that it wasn’t going to be me. And then I saw the first ballot with my first name and I knew it was over, that they had all voted together.

Is being eliminated because you are seen as a formidable opponent a consolation?

A consolation, yes and no. There was lots of praise for me. But the fact remains that I was eliminated, I would have been happier to stay in the game. The frustration was very present.

Were you really planning to ally yourself with the ex-yellows? Or would you have remained a red until the end of the adventure?

Oh no, no, I’ve never been red and it was time to turn yellow. I was just waiting for this advice to see the voting intentions of the yellows, if they voted on merit, at random… I would have turned around then. I also wanted to take advantage of the numerical superiority that the ex-reds had, at least for the first council, before getting a little wet, because, when we “betray”, there is the risk that it will turn against us . I needed to learn about yellows. It was only a matter of time.

Do you think it was detrimental to you to join the adventure several days after the others, as “sporting reinforcement”?

Yes, without a doubt. It was very complicated. I had to fight to reach the stage of reunification. They all wanted my skin. Achieving reunification was already a great victory in itself.

Do you feel like you were the ugly duckling on the red team?

Unfortunately yes. I’m not going to do the Calimero, but clearly I didn’t have a free pass. If I had failed in an event, I would have been eliminated on the pretext that the sporting reinforcement was not that sporting, even though I don’t think I was one of the worst on the red team.

In the previous episode, as the Red Ambassador, you eliminated Ricky. You ended up revealing that he asked to leave…

We all protected him, including me. He wanted to go out with dignity. He was more well-liked than me, so I decided to play along. But when I came back to the camp and saw that he was playing the victim and pretending he hadn’t asked to leave , it made me angry. This touches on questions of values and ethics. I wasn’t going to take the blame for him.

In some interviews, and contrary to what he admitted during filming when leaving the game, he says that he did not ask to leave…

From one interview to another, he evades the question or says that it didn’t happen like that or that he forgot. He finds it difficult to cope, but he must have realized that going into defamation was not the best thing to do.

He told “20 Minutes” that he had a conversation with you several months after filming…

Wow, wait! Did I have a conversation with him? I have no idea what you’re talking about…

He said: “We contacted each other several months after filming to explain this end of the adventure. It lasted a quarter of an hour and it stayed there. »

We never spoke by phone. After filming, he contacted me by messages, we spoke by messages. We saw each other again in Paris, we acted as if nothing had happened. We said hello, we talked. The time comes for the broadcast and there he blocks me on all social networks… A few days ago, he came back to talk, he unblocked me as if nothing had happened… That’s the situation. I have nothing to reproach myself for so, for my part, I do nothing. I even spoke with his sister. The situation took on a certain magnitude, he must have understood that he had to calm things down. I think he needs to admit that he asked to be eliminated, it will pass, but to deny this story while it was shown to millions of viewers, he must have understood that it was harming his image.

What is your best memory of your “Koh-Lanta”?

Sports events. It was really hard. I came to challenge myself and, frankly, I was really served. During the beam test, I lasted two hours on it, I still don’t know how I did it. The obstacle course was a dream, I won it. Mentally, I proved many things to myself.

If you had to remake this “Koh-Lanta”, what would you change?

I would ask to arrive four days early!

Were you not aware that you had to join the adventure several days after filming had started?

I learned it the day before joining the adventure. I didn’t know that filming had started. With William [l’autre « renfort sportif »], we have the same contract as the other adventurers. We just left Paris four days after everyone else without knowing it. And before entering the game, we are told that we are arriving along the way…
