However, the participating VIPs come up with creative solutions so that no suspicion falls on them. Some pre-produce posts and stories for Instagram to post at the time of the show. So fans assume they can’t be on the stage of “The Masked Singer” at the same time. If a participant were to reveal that they were on the show, they would face severe contractual penalties.

Because you can’t fight “Bet, that…?” wanted to broadcast, ProSieben showed the second episode of “The Masked Singer” on a Sunday (November 26th). The fire extinguisher mask was exposed. Eva Padberg was underneath. Guest juror Heiner Lauterbach was right. Juror Ruth Moschner guessed Lena Gercke and Alvaro Soler guessed Stefanie Giesinger.
Costume mishap in show number two: “Masked Singer” celebrity accidentally exposed
On Sunday evening (November 27th), another VIP was exposed alongside Eva Padberg – albeit accidentally. During the Kiwi’s performance, the disguised celebrity’s mask slipped off his head in the middle of the singing performance. The face was visible on the TV for a shocking second. Who it is can no longer be seen afterwards, because ProSieben has edited out the relevant scene on the Joyn+ streaming service. But the Twitter community is on the ball and posted a screenshot of the revealed celebrity: The fans are sure that behind the mask is actor Uwe Ochsenknecht. Whether that’s true remains to be seen, as the Kiwi is allowed to continue performing.
First show: Katja Ebstein was under the okapi
At the start of the season on November 18th, the celebrities gave their all in their performances! For the Okapi, however, it’s over again after episode 1. Eurovision legend Katja Ebstein was unable to prevail against her competitors with her performance of the song “Iko Iko” and was exposed.
However, the guessing team couldn’t figure it out. Guidance guest Jenke von Wilmsdorff and Alvaro Soler guessed Elke Sommer, Ruth Moschner suspected Amanda Lear under the mask.
