Interview by

Andrian Kreye

As the former director of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development and head of the Harding Center for Risk Literacy at the University of Potsdam, Gerd Gigerenzer deals scientifically with dangers, as a psychologist with how and why people make decisions. In his new book “Click – How we stay in control and make the right decisions in a digital world” (C. Bertelsmann Verlag, Munich, 2021. Translated from the English by Hainer Kober. 416 pages, 24 euros) he draws on his research concrete tips for a broad audience. It not only describes the status of digital progress, but also shows methods of how to deal with it sensibly.
