Samsung has announced that it will expand its self-repair program to include Galaxy foldables, particularly the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, as well as some models of Galaxy Book laptops. Users in South Korea and Europe can now conveniently have their devices repaired at home.
Samsung has announced a major expansion of its self-repair program. For the first time, the Galaxy Foldables, specifically the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, are now part of the program. Samsung is expected to add more devices to the lineup in the future. This development offers users in South Korea and Europe the opportunity to have their devices repaired in the comfort of their own home.

The self-repair program provides replacement parts such as back glass, charging port, speaker, screen, side button, SIM tray and volume button for smartphones.
Components such as battery, display, fan, case, power button with fingerprint reader, rubber feet, speakers and trackpad are available for laptops.
Samsung announced that more devices will be added by the end of the month, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S9 series and Galaxy Book 2 Pro series.
Coming to more and more countries
After a successful launch in the US in 2022, where the Galaxy S22 series was the first to be available, the program has expanded to additional markets including Brazil, Mexico, South Korea and some European countries. Now the program’s availability is being expanded to 30 additional European countries, including Denmark, Greece, Hungary and Portugal.
Users have the option to opt for the self-repair kit which includes repair tools. The program includes a variety of Samsung products, such as the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series and Galaxy Tab A9 series.
